Music Therapist Wanted – Join Our Team!
Dreamer Wellness Center is looking for a creative, compassionate, and dependable Music Therapist to join our growing team!
We are a unique, farm-based mental health practice that believes therapy doesn’t always have to happen within four walls. Our team uses experiential and creative approaches to help children, teens, and adults build confidence, connection, emotional regulation, communication skills, and overall well-being.
About the Position:
We are seeking a Licensed Music Therapist who is excited to bring music into a supportive, collaborative, and nontraditional therapeutic environment. Depending on experience and client needs, sessions may be provided individually or in group settings and may incorporate instruments, songwriting, rhythm, movement, improvisation, music-based coping skills, and other creative interventions.
This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys thinking outside the box and wants the freedom to use their skills creatively while still providing purposeful, client-centered services.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has appropriate education and credentials in music therapy.
- Is passionate about working with children, teens, and/or adults.
- Is comfortable working with clients with a variety of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and social needs.
- Can independently plan and facilitate engaging music-based sessions.
- Is dependable, organized, flexible, and communicative.
- Enjoys collaborating with therapists and other members of a multidisciplinary team.
- Is comfortable working in a farm-based environment where animals, nature, and a little dirt are part of the experience!
- Brings creativity, warmth, patience, and a genuine desire to connect with clients.
